He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Caya and Faye Caya (Hohbein); his in-law Marion Clouston; and his sister-in-law Gail Clouston. He is survived by: his wife Bette Clouston of Mandan; his sons, Scott Caya (Brandi) and Ryan Caya (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Alexis, Marshal, Hannah, Eden and Luke; his siblings, Gerry Caya (Billie Ann) of Bismarck, Grant Caya (Lori) of Bismarck, LuAnn Myers (Scott) of Bismarck and Sally Wicklund (Larry Klimek) of Farmington, MN; his in-laws, Ken Clouston, Gene Clouston (Betty) and Kay Markel (Steve); his aunts, Bea Hohbein of Ashby, MN and Charlotte Hohbein; and his close friends, Tom and Darlene Kautzman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, cousins, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Christ the King Church of Mandan, or Healing Rooms of the Northern Plains, Bismarck.
