He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Hauck and Rosina Hauck of Wishek; his in-laws, Raymond and Gladys Becker; and his siblings, Peter, Adelia, Helen, Arleen and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Sharyn Becker of Napoleon; his children, Marlin Hauck of Bismarck and Laura Hood (Chad) of St. Paul, MN; his brother-in-law Eldon Becker (Marlys) of Pierre, SD; and his sister Betty Ruff of Jamestown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
