He was predeceased by : his parents, August Marschall and Rosella Marschall (Anhorn); his son Michael; and his siblings, Wynette (Halden), Vernon Marshall and Gloriann Roteliuk.

He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Schmidt; his sons, Craig (Brenda), Darell (Beth) and Todd (Laura); his daughter-in-law Andrea; and his great grandchildren, Evangeline, Roland, Harley, Otto, Axel, Marshall, Eliza and Elloide.
