He was predeceased by : his parents, John E. Batterberry and Pearl E. Batterberry (Felch); and his brother Darrell. He is survived by : his wife Fern Marie Biech of Garrison, ND; his children, Marsha (Richard) and Dr. Shawn (Linda); his grandchildren, Roman, Rutger and Rio; his brother DeWitt (Marlene); and his sister-in-law Maureen of Moorhead, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
