He is survived by: his daughter Karena Ness Bergin; his wife Dottie (Dottie); his daughter Jennifer Ness-Myers (Scott); his granddaughters, Caitlin Myers and Ingrid Bergin; his niece Sarah Zainhofsky (Blaine); his nephew Eric Hillesland (Alicia); and his cousins, John Jensen (Linda) and Joel Jensen (Lauren).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church (24 3rd Ave SE, Mayville, ND 58257). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Westfield Cemetery.
