He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Sr. Amundson and Jorgine Kensrud Amundson; his wife Janice Vaagene; and his sons, Richard and Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Cutshaw (Chad) of Grand Forks, ND and Steven Amundson (Donna) of Michigan, ND; his great grandchildren, Jeremy Aasen (Betsey), Gretta and Elsie; his grandchildren, Jennifer Aasen (Peder Ellingson), Averie, Landon, Quinn, Katie Eliason (Marty), Trent, Jadon, Kody, Idella, Noah, Tyler, Gene Amundson (Amanda Landa), Kaydence, Leah, Maverick and Ridley; his friends, Karen Amundson, Richard Moen and Nick Rasmussen; his pets, Luna and Princess; and his sister DeLores Amb. He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews.
