With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Verwest (Mayville, North Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Knut Soholt and Alma Soholt (Swenby); her husband Bob Verwest; her in-laws, Hadley and Margit Verwest; her sisters, Maxine Strom, Karen Gilbertson and Linda Lande; her brothers-in-law, Mervin Karlstad, Nolan Verwest and James Lande; and her nephews, Todd and Bruce Karlstad.
She is survived by: her children, Shari Palmer (Keith) of Sharon, ND, Scott Verwest (Valerie) of Argusville, ND and Mark Verwest (Susan) of Portland, ND.; her grandchildren, Brady Palmer (Hilary), Shawn (Lyndsay Burns), Taylor Cigelske (Ben), Hailey Strauss (Joe), Paige Kyllo (Taylor), Jacob, Justin and Hadley Verwest; her great grandchildren, Owen, Harrison, Quinn Palmer, Rory, Riley Cigelske, Grady and Brooks Strauss; and her siblings-in-law, Hadley Verwest, Donald Gilbertson and Donna Jean Verwest.
