She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Coombs and Gladys Coombs (Evans); her siblings, Betty Grace, Virginia "Ginny", Credwyn and Chet; and her grandson Aric Hoots.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Fay of Mannington, WV, Kent Hoots of Edgeley, Rick Hoots (Gayle) of Beulah and Jeff Hoots (Lisa) of Killdeer; her grandchildren, Kristopher Waslaski, Tyler Waslaski, Bryant Hoots (Katherine), Becky Schick (Corey), Dakota Sundahl (Christopher), Clae Hoots (Caitlin), Ceaton Hoots (Paige) and Sage Hoots; and her sister Lois Lasher of McClusky. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
