She was predeceased by : her mother Cora Belle Zelmar (Pepper); her husband Anton "Tony" Strid; her father Martin Zelmar; her siblings, Verdan Zelmar, Claryce Frederickson, Darlene Zelmar and Lillian Soholt; and her brother-in-law Thor Strand.

She is survived by : her children, Renae LaVonne Mehlhoff (Strid) of Bismarck, ND and RayDean Strid (Juli) of McGregor, ND.; and her sisters-in-law, Eileen Strand, Eva Renn and Irene Jakobsen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel (104 Main St S, Tioga, ND 58852). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church.
