She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Boyd and Alice Boyd (Funston); her siblings, Louise, John, Carol, Roberta, Betty Jo, Ken and Daniel; and her granddaughter Harvest.
She is survived by: her friends, Harvey, Marlys, Bruce and Jan; her husband Gordon Olson of West Fargo; her children, Jeffrey (Joanne) of Fort Collins, CO, Karen, Eric Fargo (Magdalena), Bennett (Marita) of Stockholm and Jenifer Strand (Mike); her grandchildren, Emily Patterson (Austin) of Hamburg, MN, Erik (Sarah) of Bismarck, ND, Anders of Bismarck, Thor of Bismarck and James of Braine; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Emma, Ava, Noah and Ethan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and Sandy Boyd, more than a sister-in-law, truly a sister.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Glencoe Sloan Memorial Presbyterian Church (8551 158th St SE, Menoken, ND 58558).
