He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Cecil Brown and Corwin Effertz. He is survived by: his parents, Bart Effertz (Suzi) and Staci Effertz (Brown); his sons, Aiden, Abel and Axel; his siblings, Breydan Effertz (MiKaylee) and Hope Jensen (Ethan); and his grandmothers, Vicki Brown and Bonnie Effertz. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
