He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bartsch and Mary Bartsch (Kuntz); his son Kelly; his brother Richard Bartsch; and his siblings-in-law, Harvey Wittmayer, Carl Anderson, Mildred Bartsch and Linda Bartsch.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Leier (Jeanie); his children, Greg Bartsch (Myrna) of Lake Metigoshe, ND, Nancy Fejer of Loveland, CO, Lori Finken (Pat) of Bismarck, ND and Scott Bartsch (Nancy) of St. Louis Park, MN; and his siblings, Loretta Jobin (Chuck), Bertha Wald (Don), Evelyn Burgard (Matt), Barbara Schuette, Diane Wittmayer, Charles Bartsch and Dennis Bartsch (Mary). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thompson - Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (707 16th Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rosehill Memorial Park (700 11th Ave SE, Minot, ND 58701).
Tony's family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorials in his name be sent to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church or to the Kelly Bartsch Memorial at Bishop Ryan High School.
