He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nelson and Edith Nelson (Hermansen); and his wife Faye Jeanette Albertson. He is survived by: his sister Sonia Zamir (Jan) of Tucson, AZ; his children, Scott of Pierre, SD, Brent (Karen) of Golden Valley, MN and Chrisanne; his grandchildren, Cassandra Patterson (Michael), Edward, Natasha, Stephen (Denice) and Shalayna; his great grandchild Eleanor Patterson; his sisters-in-law, Iva Hysjulien (Don) and Celeste Heidbreder (Todd); and his aunt Arlene Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
