She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Monson and Tressie Monson (Bergh); her husband Denys Powell; her son-in-law Jesse Horgeshimer; and her siblings, Fred Monson Jr., Bev, Dorothy and Jackie.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas W. Powell (Patty) of Cheyenne, WY, Tim D. Powell (Lynn) of Rapid City, SD and Jane Horgeshimer of Minot, ND. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
