Brent Askvig Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 7, 2026, at the age of 67, Brent Askvig (Minot, North Dakota) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Brent Askvig to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Donald Oliver Askvig. He is survived by: his wife Stacy Askvig; his sons, Josh Askvig (Crystal) and Ethen Askvig (Jayla); his grandchildren, McKale, Dyson, Kennedy, Terner, Layla and Wynn; his mother Pat Theisen (Schaefer); his brothers, Gary Askvig (Jeanne), Donny Askvig (Jody), Curt Askvig (Kylene) and David Theisen (Darcy); his siblings-in-law, Beth Madsen and Conrad Hoag (Angel); Donald Theisen. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; one aunt and many uncles and cousins.

Memorials are preferred to the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, the ASTEP Program at Minot State University or the Second Story of Minot.
