He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Braun and Evangeline Braun (DeLorme); his daughter Breanna Braun (Scot Smith); his grandchildren, Adonis Smith, Nadia Smith and Nyomi Sanderson; his siblings, Bryan Braun (Valerie), Ed Braun (Chris), Robert C Braun (Carolyn), Russel Braun and Debra Person; his significant other Missy McNamara; and his significant other's sons, Zachary Fedorenko, Dustin McNamara and Brandon McNamara. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
