She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Pfeilschiefter and Agnes Pfeilschiefter (Steig); her grandfathers, Bill Steig (Barbara) and Jacob Pfeilschiefter (Cynthia); and her niece Tracy Thoreson.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Thoreson of Minot, ND; her children, Angela Heilman (Leo) of Voltaire, ND and Dana Thoreson (Chad Brunner) of Minot, ND; her grandson Heath Heilman of Voltaire, ND; and her brother Calvin Pfeilschiefter (Diane) of Velva, ND.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Oak Valley Lutheran Church (400 Main St N, Velva, ND 58790). A prayer was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
