With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudette Nelson of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on November 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudie and Nellie (Ostdahl); her husband Ronald Nelson; and her siblings, Beverly Mason, JoAnn Nelson and Harold Charnetzki.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Nelson (Heather Geyman), Bruce Nelson of Minot and Ronette Totall (Tommy) of Savage, MN; her grandchildren, Mikhail Nelson, Alexis Nelson, Nick Stein (Shelby), Jesse Nelson, Tori Stein, Ashton Nelson and Brock Nelson; her great grandchild Evelynn Nelson; her stepgrandchildren, Mason Totall, Ryan Totall (Peityn) and Patrick Wessen; and her brother Ernest Charnetzki of Minot.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Family Funeral Home (304 Main St S, Minot, ND 58701). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (502 17th St NW, Minot, ND 58703).
