We announce the death of Darcy W. Johnson of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 71. Darcy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bloyd Johnson and Naomi Johnson (Edwardson); his sisters, Laveda Johnson, Flavia Johnson and Darla Johnson; and his nephew Travis Ott.

He is survived by: his former wife Cindy Gaines; his child Morgan Christina (Josh) of East Hartford, CT; his wife Julie Ommedal; his children, Dustin Johnson (Hannah) of Lebanon, TN, Joran Johnson of Minot, ND and Reese Johnson (Avery) of Edgewood, WA; his grandchildren, Cory Douglas, Faith Johnson, Owen Johnson, Jackson Eskew, Audrey Baker and Sam Baker; his great grandchildren, Caison Douglas and Everleigh Baker; and his siblings, Wade Johnson (Jackie), Penny Johnson and Delpha Harper.
