He was predeceased by: his parents, George Knippelberg and Frieda Knippelberg (Freier); his half-brother Harold Krause; his siblings, Laura Sandwith, Luella Forthun, Jack and Irvin Knippelberg; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Sandwith and Del Forthun (Jim Tillema).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Knippelberg; his children, Kim Pederson (Rod) of Maxbass, ND and Jeffrey Knippelberg; his grandchildren, Asta Niebeling (Isaac) of Champlin, MN and Rory Pederson (Megan Gould); and his great grandchildren, Zune, Ezra, Kingston, Greyson and Addison.
Memorials are preferred to Our Redeemer's Church or Our Redeemer's Christian School.
