David Buen Obituary
We announce the death of David Buen of Minot, North Dakota, born in Velva, North Dakota, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 47. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Buen and Patricia Buen (Wilson); and his mother-in-law Nancy Rensch. He is survived by: his wife Renata Rensch; his daughters, Ella of Minot and Everly of Minot; his siblings, Dianna Pollert (Mark) of Jamestown, ND and Daniel Buen of Williston, ND; his nieces and nephews, Trevor Pollert (Kari), Vance, Kori Rensch, Quinn Abraham and Ashley Eagleson (Corey); his great-nieces, Coley, Cadence Eagleson and Nia Pollert; his father-in-law Richard Rensch (Bonnie Fyllesvold); and his brother-in-law Dustin Rensch (Ashley). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
David was a founding board member of the Aggie Foundation and served on the board of Rehab Services Inc. in Minot.
