David left this world on May 13, 2026 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Riley Rinn and Pauline Evelyn Lane Rinn; his siblings, Douglas and Rae Ann; and his son James.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sisters, Katie and Linda; his children, Patricia, David, Barbara, Kristine, Janelle and Mary; and his stepchildren, Mike, Jason and Lisa. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (215 3rd Ave SE, Minot, ND 58701). Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wildrose Cemetery.
