He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Woiwode and Criselda Woiwode (Finken); his daughter Laura Bruce (Woiwode); his brothers, Jerome Woiwode Jr. (Jerry) and Donald Woiwode; and his brother-in-law Carl Ferderer.

He is survived by: his wife Marion Woiwode (Martwick) of Sun City, Arizona; his daughters, Anne Marie Petty (Nick) of Rohnert Park, CA, Rae Davies (Corey) of Kokomo, IN and Michaela Woiwode (Kelly Eggen) of Bismarck, ND; his stepchildren, Jessica Strandlien of Minot, ND and Jason Strandlien (Vanessa) of Minot, ND; and his siblings, Verona Ferderer of Minot, ND, Val Lavik of Minot, ND, David Woiwode of Minot, ND and Al Woiwode (Karen) of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
