We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Dorothea Hoag of Minot, North Dakota, born in New Baltimore, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ben; and her siblings, Ruth Butela, James Werner, Thomas Werner, Kathryn Mitcheltree, June Price, Joseph Werner, Daniel Werner, Mary Jane Zupan, Blanche Petry and Carroll Ann Erickson.

She is survived by: her children, Stacy Askvig (Brent), Beth Madsen (Gregory) of Boca Raton, FL and Conrad Hoag (Angel) of Clear Lake, MN; her grandchildren, Josh Askvig (Crystal), Ethen Askvig (Jayla), Nickolas Madsen (Emily), Mitchell Gagne (Hayley), Connor Gagne and Jacob Gagne; her great grandchildren, McKale Askvig, Kennedy Askvig, Layla Askvig, Dyson Askvig, Terner Askvig, Wynn Askvig, Mia Gagne and Lium Gagne; her siblings, John Werner (Doris) of Schellsburg, PA, Nancy Kennedy of Vancouver, BC, Robert Werner (Mereade) of Schellsburg, PA and Charles Werner (Dotty) of Schellsburg, PA; and her siblings-in-law, Dolly Werner of Conneaut Lake, PA, Kay Hoag of Carson, ND, Jean Swanson of Carson, ND and Robert Petry of Johnstown, PA.

In addition, she donated many of these items to the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch and Dakota Hope Clinic.
