She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Miller (Simon) and Glenn Miller; her son Cary; and her siblings, Dick, Bob, Don Miller, Edith Peterson, Fern Brekkus and Linda Miller.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry (Jerry); her sons, Cy Kittelson (Cindy) and Curt Kittelson (Karen); her daughter-in-law Cindy Wiest (Greg); her brother Duane Miller (Bonnie) of Roswell, GA.; and her grandchildren, Vanessa Bembridge (Nick), Dustin Kittelson of Brooklyn Park, Minn., Austyn Kittelson (Kelsey) of Minot, N. D., Collin Kittelson (Laken) of Burlington, N. D., Adrianna Kittelson of Minot, N. D., Justin Kittelson (Amy) of Minot, N. D., Jayd Kittelson (Alissa) of Victoria, Minn., Cody Kittelson (Amanda) of Kindred, N. D., Matt Kittelson (Taylor) of Velva, N. D., Ashlyn Woody (Sam) of Houston, Texas, Michael Wiest (Lexus) of Velva, N. D. and Zach Wiest (Sarah) of Sawyer, N. D.. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Velva American Legion Hall.

In lieu of bouquets, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Velva Ambulance Service, which often provided Dorothy assistance.

In later years, we enjoyed our visits with her and the family after she and Jerry moved into town while enjoying the best chocolate chip cookies!!
