Duane Dokken Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Duane Dokken of Minot, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Casper and Lola Willamina Dokken (Englehart); his son Sheldon Sanford Dokken; and his sister Genevieve Reedy. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Axness; his children, Shannon Dokken, Kim Dokken of Las Vegas, NV and Kathy Haskins of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Joshua Dokken, Justin Dokken (Christina), Kori Duenas (George), Patrick Haskins (Melissa) and Jonathan Haskins (Elsa); and his siblings, Lorraine Smith (David) of Harlingen, TX, Gail Watland (Derald) of Lake Havasu, AZ and John Dokken (Susan) of Velva, ND. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
