He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bartsch and Rose Bartsch (DeMara); his wife Carolle Blomberg; his parents-in-law, Lillian and Floyd Blomberg; his brother Ted Bartsch; his nieces and nephews, Rick Bartsch, Keith Long, Danny Blomberg, Bridget Chisaka and Cindy Goodman; and his brothers-in-law, Myron Nissen and Harley Blomberg.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Bartsch and Karen Leifson (Lynn); his siblings, Melvin Bartsch, Robert Bartsch (Linda), Jim Bartsch (Celine), Betty Nissen, Regarda Bertsch (Jim), Gloria Goodman, Virginia and Kathy Blankenship (Wendle); and his siblings-in-law, Delores Hendrickson (Tony), Marlo Blomberg (Gloria), David Blomberg (Dorothy), Wally Blomberg (Carol), Jim Blomberg (Connie) and Al Blomberg (Mary).
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot.
