It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George K. Putnam (Minot, North Dakota), who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George K. Putman, Sr. and Doris A. Putnam (Adams); his parents-in-law, Mike and Florence Kuntz; and his sister Lorreta Bell (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Michelina Kuntz; his children, Mike Putnam (Beth), Brenda Slavik (Jamie) and Keith Putnam (Abigail); his siblings, Kathy Johnson, Ron and Paul; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Kuntz and Cindy Nelson (Clem). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
