It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Ilene Schmidt of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Schultz and Florence Schultz (Hasenwinkel); and her siblings, Gloria Nickelson, Connie Sivertson, Kenny Schultz, Duane Schultz and Dennis Schultz.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Schmidt; her children, Wayne Schmidt (Kathy) of Manhattan, KS, Lynn Schmidt (Ardelle) of Mohall, Tanya Schmidt of Mohall and Chad Schmidt (Andria) of Mohall; her grandchildren, Mathew (Austin), Michael (Brittany), Tyrell (Klesa), Madison, Lainey, Wyatt (Janie), Garrett and Hallie (Colton); her great grandchildren, Leo, Layn, Kory, Remy, Sophia, Landon, Charlie and Presley; and her siblings, Doris Lenno, Jay Schultz of Arizona and Jeff Schultz.
