He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Koppelsloen and Olea Berg Koppelsloen; his siblings, Merlyn Koppelsloen, Wally Koppelsloen, Irene Faaren, Gloria Swanson and Jane Horntvedt; and his siblings-in-law, Beulah Koppelsloen, Clyde Nelson, Don Swanson, Gerald Faaren and Maynard Horntvedt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Koppelsloen; his daughter Sheila Morgan (Mark); his granddaughter Brittany Uran (Cody); his great grandchildren, Lakyn, Emmitt Uran and Addyson Nichols; his sister Sherlene Nelson (Jim Clute); and his sister-in-law Jean Koppelsloen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson - Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
