She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Johnson and Miriam Johnson (Dwello); and her sisters, Jean Grafsgaard, Audrey Kinzell and Marlene Seidman.
She is survived by: her husband Jerald Sanders; her son Alan Sanders; and her stepchildren, Jarilyn Rust (Mike), Susan Knorr (Mike), Jerald "Pete" Sanders (Laura) and David Sanders.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are preferred to The Souris Valley Animal Shelter.
