Joann Tanberg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Tanberg of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on April 13, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alois Duwenhoegger and Mae Duwenhoegger (Dolezal); her husband David Tanberg; and her sister Diann Novacek. She is survived by: her children, David Tanberg (Sandra), Lynne Tanberg-Reski (Lawrence) and Terri Brasel (Matthew); her grandchildren, Kristina, Kari, Carter, Colin, Christian and Kaylee; and her sister Marian Haug. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers: Memorials may be given in Joann's memory to Our Lady of Grace Food Pantry, or Bishop Ryan Catholic School.
