It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Swenson in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Swenson to pay them a last tribute.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Swenson and Marie Swenson (Berg); his brother Tommy; and his sister-in-law Jan Swenson. He is survived by: his wife Connie Dahl of Cooperstown; and his brothers, Robert Swenson (Cindy) of Moorhead, MN, Charles Swenson (Sandy) of Minot, ND and Bruce Swenson (Diane).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1104 Roberts Ave NW, Cooperstown, ND 58425).
