He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Haman and Magdalena Haman (Jaeger); his wife Helen Fettig; his son-in-law John Briscoe; his grandchildren, Zachary Haman and Katherine Humble; his great grandchild Joshua Briscoe; and his siblings, Adam, Fred, Clemence, Richard Haman, Sister Juliana Haman, Barbara Ebach, Elizabeth Caron, Eva Kuhn, Katherine Lundin and Clara Schatz.
He is survived by: his children, David Haman (Dorothy) of Towner, Juliana Kurtz (Mathiew) of Odessa, MO, Rita Briscoe of Sioux Falls, SD, Donna, Diane Haman of Fargo, Sandra Brossart (Maurus) of Rugby, Rebecca Haman (Fred Schell) of Towner, Joseph J Haman (Amelia) of Rugby and Lily Squibb; and his siblings, William Haman and Bea Tolle. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren with one on the way; 1 step great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia's Catholic Church (503 1st St SW, Towner, ND 58788). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
