It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Stein of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Theodore, Clements, Caroline Geiger and Kathleen Sossa; his grandson Jesse Stein; his parents-in-law, Dorene Stein, Theodore Mauer, Daniel Geiger, Robert Renner, Lee Sossa and Emil Hauf; and his nephews, Ricky Stein and Claude Geiger.

He is survived by: his wife Johanna Schafer; his children, Arnold Stein, Larry Stein (Tina), Ron Stein (Jeanne), Laura Clouse (Kevin) and Todd Stein (Marilyn); and his grandchildren, Michael Stein, Jen Stein (Guy Hanley), Kristi Schaefer (Mark), Ethan, Austin Stein, Kelvin Clouse (Courtney), Julia Clouse (James Rich), Jalane Veer (Caleb), Jeffrey Stein (Ashley), Shaundra Stein, Amy, Renae and Vicky Dawson. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren: several nieces, nephews, cousins.
