She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Klimpel and Violet Klimpel (Louis); her sister Vivian Kniffen; her half-siblings, Reuben George Klimpel, Edwin Klimpel, Irene Wilson, Agnes Palmer and Gertrude Schollenberger; and her son-in-law Robert Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Johnson of Minot, ND, Donna Hanson (Clarence) of Ruso, ND, Judy Beck (John) of Sauk Rapids, MN, Diane Fager (Ed) of Jenks, OK, Lowell Johnson (Ellen) of Houston, TX and Lyle Johnson (Robin) of Minot, ND; and her sisters, Betty Keeler of Spokane, WA and Wanda Kalamaha (Paul) of Minot, ND.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas Family Funeral Home (304 Main St S, Minot, ND 58701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (2209 4th Ave NW, Minot, ND 58703).
