With sadness, we share the passing of LeRoy H. Smestad of Minot, North Dakota. LeRoy, born on April 10, 1957, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Smestad and Marles Smestad (Harstad); and his brothers, Leonard Smestad and Donald Smestad. He is survived by: his former wife Alice Stegmiller; his wife Sherri Foss; his children, Heather Dutenhafer (Chad), Chad Smestad, Destiny Morman (Andrew), Jacob Smestad (Hannah) and Macy Smestad; his grandchildren, Juliana, Rylee Smestad, Max, Logan and Tyler Dutenhafer; and his siblings, Lois Zahn, Linda Newman (Del), Mary Lingelbach (Tim), Karen Carter (Ross) and Ronald Smestad.
