It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loren Hatchard of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Loren's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hatchard and Evelyn Hatchard; his son Forrest; and his sister Karen Keeler. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hatchard; his children, Kele Monteich (Michael) of New Richmond, WI and Mark Hatchard (Pam) of Carrollton, TX; and his siblings, Kathy Mason (Don) of California and Larry Hatchard (Margaret) of Minot, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomas Family Funeral Home (304 Main St S, Minot, ND 58701).
