He was predeceased by: his father Francis Janis; and his grandmother Gloria Walls. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Grilley; his brother Kane (Laurie); his children, KyLee (Christopher), Kobe, Mikah, Elyjah and River; his grandchildren, Klay and Koda; his pet Roxie; and his sibling's children, Alexandria, Kaden and Kaleb.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
