He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Liudahl; his son-in-law Louie Schafer; and his siblings, Marvin, Vic, Alice, Lois and Sid.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Schafer, Lonny Nord, Lana Hoff (Larry) and Lisa Moldenhauer (Mitch); his grandchildren, Daisy Kenner (Kory), Luke Schafer (Melissa) and Justin Moldenhauer; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Nord, Darlene Erickson (Milt), Beaulah Sears, Arlyce Liudahl and Robert Liudahl.

He was resilient, beating Covid-19 in September.
