She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvan Varberg and Helen Varberg (Novak); her husband Donald Roen; and her siblings, Orvan Varberg Jr., Harley Varberg, Lowell Varberg and Betty Lawley.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Pederson (Luther) of Benson, MN and Mark Roen (Jenny) of Douglas, ND; her grandchildren, Kyle Pederson (Caitlin), Karysa Luckow (Cory), Garret Roen (Emily), Levi Roen (Megan) and Kalley Fake (Dan); and her great grandchildren, Crosby Pederson, Koyer Pederson, Conley Pederson, Rhett Luckow, Rinley Luckow, Kohlson Iverson, Delaney Fake, Kaia Fake and Harper Roen.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saron Lutheran Church (13500 16th St SW, Minot, ND 58701).
