He is survived by: his wife LaVona W. Getzlaff; his son Craig Getzlaff; his grandchildren, Trevor, Autumn and Elijah; his great grandchild Otto; his daughter Penny Daoodi (Safar); his grandchild Shorish Daoodi (Trista); his great grandchildren, Layla and Kallen; his grandchildren, Kameron Daoodi (Cassie), Berrevonne Daoodi (Richard) and Christian Daoodi (April); his great grandchildren, Madeline, Maximillian and Maribelle; and his siblings, Judy Bossart, Mary Jane Mack, Debbie Anderson and Dennis Getzlaff.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (2209 4th Ave NW, Minot, ND 58703). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
