He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Rathbun and Lillian Rathbun (Lyght); and his sisters, Ruth Bowman and Leone Housel. He is survived by: his wife Sophia Weninger of Minot; his children, Gerald Rathbun, Andrew of Minot, Emma of Minot, Isaac of Minot and Sam Rathbun (Chris) of Halliday, ND; his grandchildren, Ali Volk (Kalin) of Bismarck, ND, Elizabeth Rathbun of Bismarck and Krisi Rathbun of Halliday, ND; and his brother Larry Lyght (Chris) of Bemidji, MN. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
