Though Roger may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sand and Marie Sand (Deschamp); his daughter-in-law Kristi Sand; and his sister-in-law Elaine Sand. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lucht; his sons, Mylan Sand of Minot, ND, Bill Sand (Linda) of Burlington, ND and Peter Sand of Moorhead, MN; his granddaughter Elizabeth Carter (Darren) of Fargo, ND; and his brother Leslie Sand. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
