He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Rogness and Luella Rogness (Brua); and his son Rick. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Randy (Elisabeth) of Salem, OR, Shelly Pederson (Pete), Russ of Minneapolis and Melissa Koppinger (Doug); his daughter-in-law Mae of Minot; and his brother Burdean (Kay) of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to Our Redeemer's Christian Education Foundation (ORCEF) or the Lutheran Brethren Seminary.
