He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Prellwitz and Lila Prellwitz; his in-laws, Vincent and Bernice Schuchard; his siblings, Carol and Kenny Prellwitz (Peggy); and his children-in-law, Fred Pressley and Mona Prellwitz.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Schuchard; his pet Max; his children, Sharon Otteson (Leroy), Shelia Harper (Pat), Sheryl Sailer (Brent), Schad Prellwitz (Heather Johnson), Sheldon Prellwitz (Sabrina), Shelby Prellwitz (Krystal), Skyler Prellwitz (Amanda Krieger) and Shantel Flemmer (Josh); his siblings, Gary, Curt, Connie, Colleen, Marlene and Darlene; and his grandchildren, Stephan, Sarah Pressley, Sydney Harper, Gavyn, Gryffen Sailer, Colton, Kallie Prellwitz, Nora, Ryder Prellwitz, Kelsey, Madison, Kassidy, Emmett, Teddy Prellwitz, Zane Prellwitz, Riley and Maverick Flemmer. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Ron's memory to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
