He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Rubbelke and Rosella Rubbelke (Larson); and his wife Beth Rubbelke (Mary Elizabeth Laske). He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Rubbelke of Minot, Wayne Rubbelke (Faye) of Corinth, TX, Joan Nelson (David) of Minot, Kevin Rubbelke of Minot, Claire Rubbelke of Minot, Mary Schiele (Clyde) of Surrey, ND, Paul Rubbelke (Dawn) of Fridley, MN and Bill Rubbelke (Tammy Studaker) of Minot; his siblings-in-law, Jacki Qualio, Karen Dirks (Al) of Minneapolis, MN and Doug Laske; his siblings' children, Brandon Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Jodi Johnson (Adam), John Rubbelke, Amber Johnston, Ryan Johnston, Shawn Johnston (Jennifer Knutson), Brittany Nakamura (Cory), Corey Schiele, Carley Schiele, Kayle Schiele, Kelsey Rubbelke (Robert McCovins IV) and Jordan Rubbelke (Abigail); his stepsons, Brannon Wells (Amy), Tanner Wells and Cullen Wells (Heath); his stepgrandchildren, Quinlan, Greyson and Gwendolyn Wells; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kasper Johnston, Jaxson Bullard, Lyberty Johnston, Mahina, Lincoln Nakamura, Rori, Violet Rubbelke and Lois McCovins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Convention Center (2400 10th St SW, Minot, ND 58701). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Leonard Cemetery.

In his younger years, Ross participated in many 10K and fun runs for charity with his brother, Kevin.
