He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lawson (Boyd); his stepdaughters, Terri Brown (Jim) and Gerilyn Bauer (Todd); his grandchildren, Austin Brown, Allysa Brown, Codey Bauer and Ashley Bauer; his sister Ardis Johnson; his nephew Bryce Boughton; his niece Stacy Bjornstad (Myron); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Elliana, Rosalie Bjornstad, Shelly Martin, Michelle Cariveau, Sarah Berman, Griffin Bjornstad, James Foster and David Holland; his aunts, Pearl Wright and Vicki Brown; his brother-in-law Lynn Couter; his stepnephews, Ron Johnson (Christine) and Rick Johnson; and his great-stepnephew Andrew Johnson (Emma).
