He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eldwin Schmidt, Willie and Emilie Landkammer; and his aunts and uncles, Jim, Joe, Robert, Jon Landkammer, Judy Kadlec, Patty Bigaouette and Debbie Landkammer.
He is survived by: his parents, Lori Schmidt (Landkammer) of Eden Prairie, MN and Kent Schmidt (Ann Miller) of Winthrop, MN; his sister Heather Schmidt (Ben Walker) of Minneapolis, MN; and his niece Evangeline Hudalla of Minneapolis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to SAFE Project (Stop the Addiction Fatality Epidemic).
