He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gunderson and Clementine Gunderson (McNeil); his wife Dorothy Ann Schiele; his son Allen; and his siblings, Robert Gunderson and Marianne Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Kent Gunderson of Towner and Britney Keller (Robert) of Towner; his grandsons, Kenneth Gunderson and Edward Keller; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
